Application process:

To apply for the Sullivan Township Road Department position please download and fill out the application.  Either email it to: Trusteeneal@Sullivantwp.us  or mail it to: Sullivan Township Trustees, 500 U.S. Hwy 224, Sullivan OH 44880. Please include a resume with the application.

We will be talking with job applicants and scheduling an interview with the township trustees.

 

Sullivan Township Road Department Employee:

Qualifications:

a)       Possess a valid Ohio Driver's License

b)    Satisfy the insurability requirements of the township's insurance carrier.

c)     Must provide proof of experience in operating equipment required to fulfill the duties

(CDL is highly desired but not necessarily required)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

The employee must have knowledge of highway repair and maintenance methods, knowledge of digging and cleaning ditches and repairing culverts. The employee must be able to perform heavy manual duties for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions. The employee must be able to maintain complete and accurate records and to make a report to trustees.

Policy:

The employee is also required to work with and show respect to trustees, Sullivan residents and the public at all times. The trustees also reserve the right to determine methods and processes by which the work shall be performed. The trustees reserve the right to determine reasonable work schedules, starting time and quitting times.
